This powerful and thrilling artwork is created by setting fire to the paint.

Using a unique painting process, the single red pigment is literally set alight on the canvas. Fire and soot touch the canvas creating a depth of movement which make the artwork vibrate off the canvas.

The heart literally appears out of the flames. The swirling paint marks have an almost tendril like appearance, which combined with the atmospheric smoke deposits give the painting a gothic, fairytale quality.

The colours are rich and vibrant.

The scale of the canvas makes this a physically impressive artwork which will make a powerful impact in any space.
